Hotel Mellini was opened in 1996 in one of the elegant buildings of the Prati area in Rome, a residential neighbourhood very close to both the Vatican City and the historic town centre. The hotel interiors were designed by the famous architect Harry Gregory, part of the London based Ara Design Consultants, who adapted the style and philosophy of King Umberto’s era. We host and service international clients from all over the world in our 80 well-appointed rooms, suites and family rooms. The lobby, bar and patio are stylish communal areas, decorated with taste and works of art by Schifano, Montanarini and Delaunay amongst others. The hotel also has a rooftop, the Terrazza Mellini, from where you can enjoy the splendid views of the city and have candlelight dinner and cocktails during the summer months. You can see details of our interiors and rooms in our Gallery section.
